1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using healicus.com (“the Service”), operated by Healicus Ltd(“we,” “us,” or “Healicus”), a private company limited by shares registered in England and Wales under company number 17182573, with its registered office at Flat 2101, 5 New Drum Street, London E1 7BU, United Kingdom, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.5 Eligibility — Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use this Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. The Service is not intended for children or minors. If we discover that a user is under 18, we will delete the account and all associated data.

1.6 Intended Purpose — Not a Medical Device

Healicus is an educational information serviceabout supplements, longevity practices, and documented drug–supplement interactions. It is not a medical device.

2. Nature of the Service — Not Medical Advice

Healicus provides educational and informational content about supplements, longevity practices, and drug–supplement interactions. The Service is NOT a medical device, diagnostic tool, or treatment provider. It does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • All information, including AI-generated responses, interaction checks, product suggestions, and articles, is for educational purposes only.
  • The Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare provider.
  • Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or heard on Healicus.
  • Never start, stop, or change a medication or supplement regimen based solely on information from this Service.
  • If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

3. AI-Generated Content

Healicus uses artificial intelligence (including large language models) to generate responses in chat, voice, product search, and interaction checking features. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
  • AI responses are not reviewed by a medical professional before delivery.
  • The interaction reference does not cover all possible interactions and may miss clinically significant ones.
  • Product recommendations are algorithmically generated and do not constitute an endorsement or prescription.
  • Voice replies are synthesized by a third-party text-to-speech service (ElevenLabs). The voice is AI-generated and does not represent a real person. Voice audio may contain the same errors as the text it reads.
  • You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on information from the Service.

4. Affiliate Links, Product & Lab Referrals

Healicus participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program, supplement-vendor referral programs, and independent-laboratory referral programs (collectively, the “Affiliate Programs”). When you click links to third-party retailers, labs, or programmes and transact with them, Healicus may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

  • Editorial-first selection. Products, programmes, and laboratory partners are selected on editorial merit (evidence-anchoring, quality, jurisdiction fit) before any affiliate relationship is evaluated. Commission rates do not influence which partners are listed or in what order they appear.
  • Two link types. Outbound links labelled Sponsoredon partner tiles are affiliate links and earn Healicus a commission if you transact through them. Outbound links without that label are plain editorial references — we link to them because they are a legitimate place to obtain the thing described on the page, and Healicus earns nothing from those clicks.   • Healicus is a referrer, not a clinical entity or a seller. Healicus does not own, operate, sell, manufacture, distribute, perform, interpret, or take responsibility for any product, programme, lab test, or clinical service offered by a third party linked from the Service. Your contract for any such product or service is exclusively with that third party, on their terms.
  • Independent laboratories.Where Healicus refers you to a laboratory partner, that laboratory is the clinical entity responsible for the test order, sample collection, analysis, reporting, and any follow-up contact. Healicus does not receive your sample, your payment, or your results. Any clinical interpretation of your specific values, including any contact about abnormal findings, comes from the laboratory under their own clinical protocols — not from Healicus.
  • No warranties on third-party offerings. We make no warranties regarding third-party products, services, lab tests, programmes, or their quality, safety, accuracy, or efficacy. Quality and clinical governance are the responsibility of the third party.
  • FTC / UWG disclosure. As an Amazon Associate, Healicus earns from qualifying purchases. Where a link is part of an affiliate program with any other partner, that fact is disclosed by the Sponsored label on the link (Werbung in German-locale releases) and on the Disclosure page.

5. FDA Disclaimer

The statements made on this website have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The products and information discussed are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Information provided by the Service about dietary supplements is not intended as a substitute for advice given by a physician, pharmacist, or other licensed healthcare professional.

6. User Accounts & Your Data

Some features require a free account. The data Healicus stores against your account consists of editorial preferences (the pillars and intentions you focus on, age band, dietary pattern, an optional self-note), practices you save to My Focus, chat and search history, and any wellness ratings you submit. Healicus does not maintain a stored health record against your account: conditions, medications, and allergies are not collected as a structured dataset.

The Interaction Reference at /safety-check accepts medications and supplements you enter for a one-shot herb-drug / supplement-drug check. Inputs are processed in-session and not stored on your account.

  • By creating an account, you consent to the processing described in our Privacy Policy.
  • If you choose to disclose health information in a chat, search, or wellness log, that disclosure is voluntary; the relevant legal basis is described in the Privacy Policy.
  • You can delete individual conversations and your account (with all associated data) at any time from the Profile page.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Mandatory statutory carve-outs — unlimited liability.

Nothing in these Terms, including any cap, exclusion, or limitation below or elsewhere in this agreement, limits or excludes our liability for:

  • injury to life, body, or health caused by a negligent breach of duty by us, our legal representatives, or our vicarious agents (§ 309 Nr. 7 lit. a BGB);
  • intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit) by us, our legal representatives, or our vicarious agents (§ 309 Nr. 7 lit. b BGB);
  • claims under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz);
  • breach of a guarantee (Garantie) we have expressly given;
  • fraudulent concealment of defects (arglistiges Verschweigen eines Mangels);
  • any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory applicable law (§§ 307, 309, 310 BGB).

For these cases our liability is unlimited and no monetary cap, no exclusion of indirect or consequential damages, and no other limitation in these Terms applies.

7.2 Simple negligence.For damages arising from simple negligence that do not fall into section 7.1, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations (Kardinalpflichten — duties whose fulfillment is necessary for the proper performance of the contract and on whose fulfillment you may regularly rely). In that case liability is limited to damages that are typical and foreseeable for this type of contract at the time of contract formation.

7.3 Excluded damage types (simple negligence only). Subject in all cases to section 7.1, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses) resulting from:

  • your use of or inability to use the Service;
  • any information obtained from the Service, including AI-generated content, interaction checks, and product recommendations;
  • any health decisions you make based on information from the Service;
  • any adverse reactions, interactions, or health outcomes related to supplements, herbs, or other products discussed on or linked from the Service;
  • unauthorized access to or alteration of your data;
  • any third-party products purchased through affiliate links.

7.4 Monetary cap (simple negligence only).Where a monetary cap is legally permissible, our total liability for damages from simple negligence shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty euros (€50), whichever is greater. This cap does not apply to any liability described in section 7.1.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Healicus and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on any information provided by the Service.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including text, articles, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Healicus or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

Remedy and interaction data in our knowledge base is original Healicus content authored in-house. We consult public-domain reference sources (EMA HMPC monographs, German Commission E, WHO monographs, PubMed) for fact-checking but do not republish copyrighted text. 10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service as a substitute for emergency medical services;
  • Rely on the interaction reference as the sole source of drug interaction information;
  • Use the Service to provide medical advice to others;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service;
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to the mandatory statutory carve-outs in section 7.1, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not warrant that AI-generated content, interaction checks, or product recommendations will be accurate, complete, up to date, or suitable for any particular purpose.

This disclaimer does notoverride the statutory rights of consumers under German and EU law, including mandatory warranty rights (Gewährleistung) and the liability carve-outs set out in section 7.1 (life, body, health; intent or gross negligence; Product Liability Act; guarantees). Where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you broader rights than this section, those mandatory rights apply.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the city where the operator is registered, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

Dispute resolution. For disputes, we recommend first contacting us directly at healicus.support@gmail.com. The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. Healicus is not obligated and not willing to participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings under § 36 of the German Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz (VSBG).

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
